When do your books open?
The booking schedule is listed here
What is your rate?
$200/hr.
($200 minimum)
Do you require a deposit?
Yes, a non-refundable deposit of $100 via Zelle is required to reserve a spot.
Where is your shop located?
The shop is actually located in Round Rock, TX, which is just north of Austin.
I work in a private studio that is located inside of another business, so I don't have the address listed publicly to avoid walk-ins. If your request is accepted, the email reply will have the exact address.
What is your cancellation policy?
Deposits are non-refundable, so cancelling an appointment means your deposit would be forfeited.
However, appointments can be rescheduled without losing the deposit as long as I am notified 72 hours (3 days) before the appointment time.
Last minute rescheduling will require a 2nd deposit and the 1st deposit will be lost.
How do I reschedule my appointment?
Please reply to your confirmation email or email me at [email protected]
What is the shop policy regarding Covid?
Masks are optional if vaccinated.
If you have been exposed to Covid within 2 weeks prior to appointment day, please let me know immediately so we can reschedule.
What payment methods do you accept?
Zelle and cash
How should I prepare for my appointment?
- Make sure to be well rested, hydrated, and have eaten recently. Being hungry/tired while getting tattooed can cause more discomfort and pain.
- Wear or bring clothes that you don't mind getting dirty (in case of ink stains) and is appropriate for the area you're getting tattooed (ex: shorts for a thigh tattoo)
- Avoid alcohol and painkillers with ibuprofen/aspirin (Advil) or any blood thinning medication
- Feel free to bring some entertainment (headphones, Nintendo Switch, a book, etc.) or a jacket in case it gets cold
- You can bring a guest but please do not bring more than 1 since my studio is pretty small
- If you arrive to the shop earlier than our scheduled appointment time, please stay in your car and let me know via email/text that you've arrived. I will let you know when it's okay to come in since I might still be with a client
How do I care for the tattoo afterwards?
I use Saniderm (a clear adhesive bandage) to wrap the tattoo immediately after, so if you have any allergies to adhesives, please let me know.
- Keep the Saniderm bandage on for 5 days
(Taking off the bandage prematurely may rip out some scabs/ink and cause missing spots) - After the 5th day, take off the bandage in the shower — the running water will help remove it
- Once the bandage is completely off, clean the tattoo gently with water to remove the plasma/blood/excess ink, then pat it dry, and apply aftercare product
- Do this 2x a day every day until tattoo is fully healed (around 2-4 weeks)
(You may apply aftercare ointment more often throughout the day if it feels really dry) - PLEASE AVOID: picking/scratching at the tattoo, heavy sun exposure, swimming, tanning, soaking, and activities where dirt and etc. could get into the tattoo
- Always wear sunscreen on healed tattoos when exposed to the sun to prevent fading
What aftercare product do you recommend?
Hustle Butter Deluxe
Available at the shop or on Hustle Butter, Amazon, and Ulta
It's great for tattoo aftercare, dry skin, and eczema!
Can I get tattooed if I'm under 18 years old even with parental consent?
No, it is illegal in Texas to tattoo a minor.
Is it possible to book an appointment for me and a friend on the same day?
Yes, please submit one booking request for the both of you. But please keep in mind, it's possible that I might accept one idea and not the other if I think the idea doesn't work well with my style.
If I want a custom piece, will I get to see the design beforehand?
Maybe — I typically draw the day before the appointment, so if I have extra time, I'll email it to you. Otherwise, I'll show the design at the appointment and we can make adjustments in person.
Would you consider tattooing something non-anime related?
Sure, I enjoy tattooing gamer/nerdy stuff as well as florals. But I will not tattoo a style that is completely different from my own (ex: watercolor, portraits, traditional, etc.)
Would you tattoo something you've tattooed before?
Usually, no.
Although this falls into a grey area, since some manga panels are extremely popular and are tattooed often. If you're wanting a manga panel that falls into that category, I might consider it. But I'm more inclined to reject repeat tattoos, just so I can have more variety in my work.
What body part do you love/hate tattooing the most?
I love tattooing arms - specifically the forearms. The skin is mostly flat and taut, so it's easier to tattoo. I'm more inclined to accept a forearm tattoo *hint hint*
I dislike tattooing ribs, stomach, chest. lol.
I will not tattoo faces, necks, hands, fingers, or feet.
Can I use numbing cream for our session?
I would advise against using numbing cream since it changes the texture of the skin, making it more difficult to tattoo.
Would you take on an apprentice?
Not at the moment — sorry! I don't believe I'm qualified to teach just yet.
Do you sell your merch at the shop?
Yes! :)
Can I bring a gift as tip?
Of course! Any tip is greatly appreciated - but please don't feel obligated to. I'm simply grateful for your business and support! ♡
